In the 80s, the nation was gripped in the fear of metal music. Satanic panic had spread, and so B-level filmmakers did what they did best and exploited it for storylines. John Fasano is one such filmmaker and really has done it multiple times over. If Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare was the opening act, then Black Roses is his million dollar budget headliner. Full of pervert mustaches, wobbly puppets, Italians, and enough hairspray to choke a horse, Black Roses serves as a time capsule for how lame it was to be a teenager in the 80s.
Editor's Note: Steve incorrectly says there are two good yeets in this movie, but he forgot the Gorilla Press Slam. This is a three yeet film, baby.

This week we take a spin at Tubi Roulette. Old Gods such as Tubi do not deal in granting wishes, but it does deal in the Wishmaster series. Specifically, Wishmaster 3: the third or fourth worst thing about 2001. Before streaming originals and VOD releases, there was the straight-to-video market of low budget films kicking the corpses of previously loved films (see also Hellraiser.) After losing all of its ties to KNB effects, Wes Craven, horror icon cameos and seasoned character actors, what does Wishmaster 3 have left to offer? Barely enough to add up to a rat fart.
